Binance

Binance is the largest crypto exchange in the world in terms of trading pairs and volume. It was founded in 2017 by Yi He and Changpeng Zhao (the current CEO of Binance) in China, but all of its servers are now located outside of China as a response to Chinese over-regulation.

Binance has its own cryptocurrency, called Binance Coin (BNB), which can be used to pay trading fees on the exchange (those who do so receive a 50% discount) and for goods and services at some retailers. A list of merchants that accept Bitcoin and Binance Coin in Australia can be found here. Please note signups to Binance Australia made through the link here or by clicking the logo below will receive a 5% rebate on trading fees paid in BNB.

In addition to the general crypto exchange services Binance also provides margin trading and derivative products such as leveraged futures. Binance also provides a p2p trading platform and financial services such as crypto collateralized loans. Binance is engaged in a number of educational and entrepreneurial projects, such as Binance Academy, which has an YouTube channel, and its crypto startup incubator, which invested 3.5 million in the Queensland based Travel Agency Travel By Bit. Binance Australia also has an informative YouTube channel and has hosted several events and virtual seminars covering topics such as crypto tax regulations in Australia.
